AREA INFORMATION

kodiak alaska The Area around Whale Pass provides world class fishing, great hunting and abundance of wildlife for observing in their natural habitat. This is an excellent place to view wildlife from the comfort of the lodge. It is not uncommon to see whales daily.

Whale Pass is the main passage between the east and west sides of Kodiak Island. For this reason, not only does Whale Passage abound with marine wildlife but, fishing boats from local salmon seiners to Bering Sea crabbers use the pass to get in and out of the port of Kodiak. Whale Passage always offers something to capture your eye.
